Plug-in Hybrid

By pairing a petrol engine with an electric motor and a rechargeable battery, these plug-in hybrids offer the flexibility of electric driving alongside the reassurance of conventional engine power. Compared with traditional hybrid vehicles, PHEVs provide a greater electric-only driving range, helping to reduce fuel consumption and emissions on shorter journeys.

Our plug-in hybrid range includes the five-seat Mazda CX-60 PHEV and the seven-seat Mazda CX-80 PHEV – two large SUVs that combine impressive performance with low Benefit-in-Kind (BIK) rates.

Mild Hybrid

Mazda M Hybrid technology is available across a range of Mazda models, intelligently capturing energy that would otherwise be lost during braking and deceleration. This recovered energy is converted into electricity to support various vehicle systems, including the air conditioning, audio system and heated seats. By reducing the load on the engine, Mazda M Hybrid helps improve efficiency and lower fuel consumption.

  • No plug-in charging required - Using a compact generator, Mazda M Hybrid captures energy that would otherwise be lost during braking and stores it for later use. This recovered energy then supports the engine to improve efficiency and performance.
